    Black Denim Street Bob

The first thing I noticed were the wheels which looked a lot like American Racing wheels, the kind you might find on an old muscle car and sure enough, that’s what they are, with a Chevy bolt pattern no less. The brakes behind those wheels looked big enough for a car, and those, too, are automotive, they’re Wilwood sprint car brakes. But then I looked around for a front brake lever and couldn’t find one. Turns out he went full automotive and linked both front and rear brakes to work from the brake pedal, there’s a proportioning valve under the seat. This is looking pretty cool.

On the left side he has a jockey shift with a hand clutch on the lever so there are no levers on the bars at all. Thinking about all  black of the control positions I believe I would have to spend a couple minutes in a parking lot before I went out on the street with it but it looks like everything fits together nicely.

Again, this is certainly no high performance sport bike but I always appreciate clean custom work and I think the builder did a nice job.

Also cool is the current owner, Mike Hennike, picked this up black.
