“Harmony between rider and machine.” YAMAHA's Human Technology involves studying the form of the motorcycle actually in motion with the rider on it. The R series is the embodiment of 1) a wide frontal space that protects the rider, 2) an easy to ride seating area that gives riders the freedom of movement and allows them to steer effectively, 3) the glamorous tail treatment that takes into account the management of airflow behind the rider, and 4) a sensual racing form that brings all 3 of these elements together in a harmonious package. These characteristics have been splendidly reproduced in the YZF-R15 version 2.0.
The YZF-R15 version 2.0 is a new model that has been developed under the concept of a “Graded Up R15.” While maintaining the proven ease of handling of the existing R15, the R15 version 2.0 boasts of spruced up looks and better performance in circuit riding. The design elements are borrowed from the supersport model YZF-R1 that is adapted from YZR-M1 MotoGP race machine.
The YZF-R15 version 2.0 – is a 150cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke fuel injected bike. The R15 version 2.0 has undergone changes as compared to the present YZF-R15 in the specs of the Engine Control unit (ECU), drivetrain unit, a long aluminum swing arm, wider front and rear tires (radial tire for the rear), split seat, LED taillights and new-design middle cowl & tail cowl.

Yamaha YZF-R1 Highlights and Key Features:

    Fuel Consumption ± 14kpl/40mpg(Imp)

    New, more aggressive front fairing

    7 - position traction control

    Key Features:

•For 2012, the YZF-R1 receives another benefit from MotoGP® technology – a seven-level Traction Control System. The system has been developed so the rider does not feel any unnatural or harsh intervention from the system. In addition, traction control can aid in reducing tire wear due to less wheel spin. Coupled with the three level D-Mode electronics throttle response control, riders have 21 different choices available to tailor the YZF-R1 to their riding preference.

•World GP 50th Anniversary Edition celebrates Yamaha’s racing heritage with Pearl White/Rapid Red livery. Includes a 50th Anniversary emblem on top of the fuel tank and a special numbered plate showing the production number of only 2000 units that will be produced worldwide in these commemorative colors. Gold Yamaha badges are used on the fuel tank, front, and rear of the motorcycle, and an additional small sticker kit will be provided.

•The 2012 YZF-R1 has a new headlight cowl designed to be sharper, more modern, and more aggressive. LED position lights are used for a high quality and distinctive look. Out back, the muffler end caps and heat shields are restyled for a more mechanical look. And a new top triple clamp is styled after the YZR-M1.

•This R1 keeps all the technological superiorities developed for its predecessor: YCC-T™ (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) is MotoGP® inspired fly-by-wire technology used to deliver instant throttle response. YCC-I® is Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake which is a variable intake system that broadens the spread of power. The fuel injection system provides optimum air/fuel mixtures for maximum power and smooth throttle response.

•In keeping with this machine’s exceptional cornering ability and crisp handling, the aluminum frame has been designed to offer exceptional rigidity balance. The rear frame is lightweight Controlled-Fill die-cast magnesium, contributing the optimum mass centralization. Suspension includes SOQI front forks which use one of the tricks developed for our winning MotoGP® bikes: independent damping. The left fork handles compression damping and the right side handles the rebound damping. And the rear shock adopts bottom linkage for optimum suspension characteristics.

•The sound on the YZF-R1 is unlike any other inline four cylinder production supersport. The precise and throaty pulse of the exhaust note will have riders enthused every time the throttle is opened.

•Seven-level Traction Control System allows the rider to get more traction and drive while exiting corners.

•New ECU settings provide excellent drivability during low and mid rpm acceleration.

•New top triple clamps add to the appearance of the YZF-R1, reminiscent of the MotoGP® powerhouse YZR-M1.

•The footrests have been redesigned for great boot sole contact and advanced rider/motorcycle interface.

•New headlight cowl styling and LED position lights enhance the YZF-R1’s unique styling.

•New silencer heat guards and end caps are re-styled to give the rear end of the bike a more compact look ,while at the same time making the individual parts look more mechanical

Modification Aero Chopper by Jesse James

Modification James is, of course, a multimillionaire, happily wedded to a big Hollywood star. His bikes sell for six figures. jesse james modification he's had a hit TV series. The world is his proverbial oyster. Here’s the thing, though. If it were all taken away tomorrow, if he was down to a clapped-out Panhead rigid and a box of rusty old handtools, Jesse James would be just as happy. He’s a lucky dog and he knows it, and hasn’t forgotten how to have fun despite his fame and fortune.

Walking around the man’s Long Beach complex, a renovated building across the street from his West Coast Choppers shop, it’s clear that James is much more than a Jesse One Note. In one corner, there’s a group of early VW Beetles, all stock, including one of the first built in occupied Germany just after the war. Also under the roof are muscle cars, sports cars and winged dirt racers. Over there is a Toyota Baja pre-runner, a four-place pickup with skyscraper suspension. And there’s “Gold Digger,” the old-school chopper James built as part of his excellent “History of Choppers” TV documentary, the first effort from his new production company, formed after he unchained himself from the weekly grind of the “Monster Garage” series.

Modification BMW R 1200GS by Jesse James

Jesse James from new hit TV series “Jesse James Is A Dead Man,” will feature a trip Arctic Ice Road from Inuvik to Aklavik, Alaska on a motorcycle, a BMW R 1200GS.

This hazardous highway of snow and ice is home to some of the world’s most extreme conditions, including bitter below zero temperatures, piercing wind chills, and the perilous ice road itself that can open at any moment, swallowing a traveler instantly. With virtually no traction on the unprepared ice and not a single gas station for miles for refuge or repairs, at least the BMW R 1200 GS motorcycle could offer some comfort and peace of mind, and not just from the heated handgrips.

For this perilous journey, a BMW R 1200 GS Adventure motorcycle was outfitted to fight the frozen north with a multitude of modifications, including studded tires and custom flame paint in typical Jesse James modification fashion. Specification bike The BMW R 1200 GS Adventure motorcycle is coveted around the world as the only motorcycle that can tackle any terrain, from the African Desert to the Tibetan mountains, and come back for more. The GS series of dual sport motorcycles are at the forefront of adventure riding, which is quickly gaining in popularity in the United States due to its promise of fun and freedom both on and off road.
